I am a highly experienced and seasoned International Mountain Guide offering a bespoke client-focused guiding, instructional and aspirational mentoring service in mountaineering, rock climbing and alpinism. From my home and working base in the South Lakes, we have the advantage of having diverse and easily accessible venues for guiding and instructional courses. Very close by, we also have the Limestone cliffs and outcrops of the western fringes of the Yorkshire Dales National Park and also the Arnside and Silverdale Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty, tucked in the most northwesterly corner of Lancashire. Often, the Limestone cliffs of these venues are dry when it is inclement on the Lakeland Crags allowing us great flexibility in the event of a mixed weather forecast.

You might be a complete beginner or a committed enthusiast; wishing to experience new places, gain new skills and the personal confidence to attain your mountain goals through a unique and bespoke client and guide mentoring partnership. Alternatively, you might want me to help you achieve autonomy and the confidence to look after yourself and your companions. As we gain insight into what works for you, I can adapt and tailor the level of guiding and instructional input. Furthermore, we can set the commitment level and the physical and technical challenge best suited to you personally.

All programmes are delivered by myself. Guide to client ratios are outlined within each activity and I only run with very low ratios to maximise safety, learning and attend to the expectations of all participants.
