Reet Grand Days Out Int Lakes Level 1

Difficulty Range: Grade 1 & 2 scrambles

If you relish a bit of exposure and are confident on your feet on rough rocky terrain but don’t consider yourself an all out rock climber or technical scrambler, then join me on a Reet Grand Day Out Int Lakes Level 1 day. Scrambles are graded from 1 to 3, after which we enter rock climbing grade territory. At level 1, we cover a mixture of Grade 1 and Grade 2 ground and we will be roped together whenever required. The ropework skills will be managed by the guide, allowing you to focus on the experience whilst we undertake a great walking and linked scrambling / mountaineering journey. Throughout the journey. we will be practising movement and climbing techniques at every suitable opportunity.

Reet Grand Days Out Int Lakes Level 2

Difficulty Range : Grade 3 scrambles & Moderate to Difficult Rock Climbs

Scrambling at the higher end of the difficulty scale of Grade 3 scrambles and climbing great rock routes at the Moderate to Difficult climbing grades. We will undertake a great mountain scrambling journey linking scrambles and easier climbs. You will have prior scrambling / rock climbing experience with belaying a leader and stripping belays in the capacity of a competent second. CLASSIC ROCK GUIDING LEVEL 1

Classic Rock Level 1 can run with one person or two people booking together.

Difficulty Range : Very Difficult (VD) to Hard Severe (HS)

Maximum mileage rock climbing days with the focus on quality Lakeland rock routes in the Very Difficult to Hard Severe category. We are literally spoiled for choice for great routes to climb at this level in the Lake District: hiking up to a high mountain crag or great days on easily accessible valley crags. You will realise that there is a lifetime of routes to climb and memories of fantastic days out to be had. You will have prior rock climbing experience with belaying a leader and stripping belays in the capacity of a competent second at the chosen grade.Just get in touch if you need to discuss this. CLASSIC ROCK GUIDING LEVEL 2

Classic Rock Level 2 is one to one guiding only.

Difficulty range: Very Severe (VS) and above.

Join me for classic rock climbs of Very Severe and above. The choice of climbs and venues in the Lake District is staggering in its breadth and quality. You will already have a solid level of experience seconding rock climbs and are confident following in exposed situations such as down climbs and traverses where you are not always as protected by the rope. You can belay with double ropes, managing each rope simultaneously and safely as dictated by the lead climber. You are comfortable with potentially big abseils.
